One of the highlights in the drill was that Fuzhou launched the drainage facilities information management platform for the first time in this year’s flood season. This platform will play an important role in improving the drainage and waterlogging prevention disposal level of Rongcheng in the future. At the same time, Fuzhou Construction Committee also announced 34 flood-prone risk areas found in this year’s investigation, and came up with a “1.1-policy” rectification plan.

According to reports, Fuzhou drainage facilities information management platform integrates water level monitoring, flood-prone areas, under-channel videos, real-time operation of pumping stations, emergency personnel, equipment, materials and dynamic waterlogging points, etc, form a real-time “urban flood prevention emergency map”, and the dispatcher can know the flood prevention related information in real time through the large screen.
At present, Fuzhou has equipped 4 emergency drainage vehicles. The drill simulated serious waterlogging in Jianxin South Road and Daru family. The dispatcher immediately invested two nearby emergency drainage vehicles to the scene for rescue through the information management platform.
The person in charge of the public office of Fuzhou Municipal Construction Committee said: “Previously, Fuzhou’s urban flood prevention emergency mainly relied on road inspection to find flood spots and then dispatch personnel and vehicles for disposal. After the information management platform of drainage facilities is enabled, the dispatcher can find the waterlogging point and conduct more efficient research and judgment scheduling only through the large screen of the drainage management center.”
The reporter learned that in addition to drainage and waterlogging prevention emergency, the platform will also realize the functions of water pipe network informatization maintenance and urban water level and water quantity detection in the future.
34 flood-prone areas implement “1.1 Policies” rectification plan
In addition, Fuzhou Construction Committee also announced 34 flood-prone risk areas found this year, including Changle Middle Road, around Daru family of Meiting Road, West Garden intersection of Jin’an district, north square of Sanhuan railway station, Dengyun Road, the back door of Taihe Hongyu community, Jianxin Middle Road, Oak Bay section of Sanhuan Road (connecting Hongwan River to oolong River), kuipu Bridge culvert, Shoushan Road, Taihe square of chemical Road, Jianxin Middle Road National Security Bureau, Jianxin Middle Road Swan Bay, under the Shuanghu Viaduct (the auxiliary Road on the southeast side), the road around Cangshan Science and Technology Park of Lianjiang South Road, the Fuyuan Road of Gongyuan Road, the Oak Bay section of the Third Ring Road (passing through Huaxi to oolong River), the surrounding of the tree pocket station of Jin’an river subway on Wah Lam Rd, wah Lam Rd Jingguan outer Road, Zuohai Furniture City Gate, etc.
It is reported that the Fuzhou municipal construction committee has come up with a “1.1-policy” rectification plan for these flood-prone points. The relevant person in charge of Fuzhou Water Supply and Drainage Management Center said that at present, most of the flood-prone risk areas have been renovated, and the remaining 10 are speeding up the transformation, and all the rectification can be completed by the middle of June.
