At the intersection of Yiyuan Road in Wanbao business district, Taijiang district, Fuzhou, because the construction was excavated without backfilling, a deep pit about 30 centimeters deep was left in the road, which caused traffic flow retention yesterday. “All day long, I saw the past cars touched before and after touching them, and some cars almost fell down.” Master Wang, who was working nearby, said.
The reporter saw at the scene that the gully at the intersection of Yiyuan Road and industrial Road was one meter wide, more than ten meters long and 30 to 40 centimeters deep, almost crossing the whole Yiyuan Road (as shown in the figure). Because the ravine is located between Wanxiang City and central Fifth Street, the citizens who come here to park constantly, the reporter saw that many cars directly touch the cement ground ahead front bumper, and some of them even enter the ravine, which is difficult to come out. The waiting cars lined up and the traffic order was quite chaotic.
A nearby security guard told the reporter that the ravine was formed by someone digging the road by construction a few days ago, but it was not backfilled. But because there are too many construction units around gas, underground shopping malls, subways, inland rivers and so on, I don’t know who dug it.
The reporter then contacted Fuzhou municipal administration and engineering management office. The staff on duty told the reporter that since the pavement of Yiyuan Road was less than 20 meters, the construction bureau of Taijiang district was responsible according to the regulations. The reporter called the Taijiang District Construction Bureau on duty many times, but no one answered. (Haidu reporter Zhao Yang/Wen Mao Chaoqing/picture)
